This September an intrepid group of philanthropists will embark on a 4×4 adventure across Southern Africa to raise funds for the SOS Africa Children’s Charity. The crew from Yacht Skyler; Chief Stewardess Jaime-li Roux, Chef Daniel Brook, Captain Nicholas Coombes will embark on an 8000km journey through 6 African countries with university student Keagan Roux and Chef Hannah Coombes. Together the group will travel over 8000km through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique in just 21 days.
“After a year of route planning and working out the timeline, it’s all finally come together for us to complete a trip of a lifetime. Most of our crew haven’t been to Africa yet, let alone a 4×4 mission through 6 countries in 21 days. We are so proud to have come across SOS Africa, they work hard to ensure children get the education and care. we’re really excited to see if we can make an impact with our fundraising efforts alongside this charity.” Jaime-Li Roux (Event Organiser)
The purpose of this challenge is to raise funds to sponsor the complete education and care of 5 SOS Africa children right through to their high school graduation and their fundraising is already well underway. In order to achieve their ambitious fundraising target of ÂŁ36,000, Jaime-Li, Daniel, Nicholas, Keagan and Hannan are asking for the support of friends, family, colleagues and SOS Africa supporters: https://www.justgiving.com/2cars6countries21days.
